How to Launch a Direct Mail Marketing Campaign

Step #1: Define the Target Audience
Defining your audience and building your mailing list is the first step in any direct mail campaign. You can either provide us with your own mailing list or, we can build it for you. We specialize in pulling high-quality, cleaned lists. We also guarantee a minimum of a 98% send rate; that means you will have very few (if any) mailings returned!
Step #2: Decide on a Mailer Size
The two most common postcard sizes are 6×11 or 8.5×5.5; but depending on the amount of information you have to portray, we can do all different sizes! We can do a small 4×6 card or a large fold-over mailer. We will work with you to decide on the best size.
Step #3: Get the Quote
Once we pull your mailing list, we will let you know the number of addresses. We will then provide you with a quote based on the size of mailers you choose and the number of addresses on your list. You should send marketing mail every 4-6 weeks, so keep that in mind when budgeting.
Step #4: Work with our Graphic Designer
It doesn’t matter if you are envisioning your perfect postcard in your head or if you don’t have a clue what you’re looking for, our graphic designer will be sure to come up with a custom design that will blow you away!
Step #5: Print the Cards
We work closely with USPS and are aware of all of their rules on mailer design, so when we print your cards, we are sure to leave the proper amount of room for the address and postage. It takes approximately 4-6 business days to print, address, and mail your cards.
Step #6: Address the Cards
We then work on addressing your cards. We will always add our address and your address to the mailing list so we can both confirm receipt of the mailing.
Step #7: Bring the Cards to the Post Office
Approximately 4-6 business days after you approve your design, we bring your cards to the post office, pay the postage, and they get sent out! The next step from here is to field any calls that come in from that mailing and start thinking about your next one!
